Pop. 86. In Reg. Mun. of Sudbury on the Veuve R. and CPR and Hwys 17 & 535, 46 km E of Sudbury.
The place was first called Veuve Station but when the post office opened in 1927 it was named Hagar after the T. in which it then was located. The T. had been named in 1882 for Albert Hagar, MLA for Prescott 1880-1886.
