  • Pop. 519. In Kenora Dist. on Lac Seul, an extension of the English R., 40 km NW of Sioux Lookout.
  • The lake has hundreds of bays and inlets and an area of 416 square mi. (l,077 sq. km). Fort Lac Senl trading post was established in 1815. Seul is a French word meaning 'alone' or 'by oneself.'
