- The community pool offers programs and family fun throughout the summer months, including;
- Aquafit, open family swims, registered lessons, camps for kids 5-13, Canada Day family activities, Civic Holiday family activities, and pool rentals.
- The pool was opened to the community on June 1, 2010 after five years of community fundraising efforts in memory of the late 'Erin Palmateer' a local girl who taught swimming lessons to youth in Tweed out of her family pool.
- During summer months the pool is operated by the YMCA of Central East Ontario. The pool committee continue to oversee operation and fundraising.
